Today mei zhen receive her NTU rejection letter le..All of us apply for NTU, NUS on February..now is coming to the mid of MAY. Guess my hope is smaller and smaller each awaiting day..Yu Kun also got his last friday. I know that he hope to enter NTU, at least a local uni and his wanted course to study in university. There are likely to have many good 'A' level students who are also hoping to get into university like us. Fighting among the best schools, unlikely to get in, unless the top 10% in polytechnic, so called the elite, certificate of Merit students. Nevertheless, I was once like them but was squeezed out of the list. HahaHa~!! I didn't manage to work hard to pull myself hard enough to maintain or do better in the last semester of the year. My last result was disappointing, at the end of the 3 years race, I am proud to announce that I graduate from Singapore Polytechnic. The last paper ended my days in the poly years, the last touch of the chair and table. The feeling was sweet and sour. I pushed myself too hard until I fell sick, that was the price of success. The 'success' was far far away from me leaving me hanging in the air. Every time I open the letter box, I prayed, somehow the letter didn't appear. I miss my Poly friends...  |
