4E1 Gathering After work, went to cityhall to meet my zhong hua & my sec friends..I was so crazy cos got to talk to 2 different sector of friends. Zhong hua my poly friend, others guys plus girls secondary school friends. All of them enter uni, ling hui still studying her diploma in RP, gladys doing her exhibition of arts, some guys doing their NS but gt acceptance from NTU already, pei ling doing her Law studys in SMU, ee ching doing her accountacy in NTU,and me still waiting for my uni letter. OMG!! Everyone in the office already know their path le, mei zhen & eileen planning to find work, yu kun wants to study in SIM IT, Aidil & tiong cai study NTU comp sci, jia jun go NUS study computing, jun jie & ronald going back sch for their last sem then NS........ what about me?? You gt to stay tuned to my blog to see what happens to me.. Coming back to our gathering, we ate Newyork Newyork, I ate the chicken chop..Tasty! Not bad, still got birthday prank on Mr Kelvin. A lovely fluffy flost cake for him & mapie for him. Hahaha!! I pay him $15 back..he pay first with his mastercard wor...Haha!! After that everyone was like queueing outside to pay him back, me and ee ching was laughing cos it was like donating money to him. Pei ling just keep looking for coins in her purse. After minutes of discussion, we will agree to go somewhere a pub or some place to listen to music, but on the way there we change our mind, went to vivocity outside to play games, it was '007 BANG'. Of cos, I was a newbie, seldom hang out with groups since my ex...ya u know when u gt a "boyfriend", I can't go out with my friends anymore..poor me..But nvm, I enjoy my times with my friends now. The game was testing on our reflexes and mind, the difficult part was slow ones will end up drinking small sip of vodka. I drank almost half or more than a plastics cup sia. Due to time constraint, I went home with ee ching first. Almost mid-night when we reach jurong east. I was afraid that there is no train for me to go home. Below is what I found about Vodka. I guess the bottle they bought was a strong vodka as it tasted "burn". Not sure how many percent of alcohol in it. Felt warm, sweat on my back when I got home, was abit "high" keep laughing and joking with ee ching on train. You know my normal self is quiet Emo person. Of cos not drunk, training my level now. ROUND one fight!! HahaHa..abit sot sot now..pandon me ok! Vodka is one of the world's most popular distilled beverages. It is a clear liquid containing water and ethanol purified by distillation - often multiple distillation - from a fermented substance such as potatoes, grain or sugar beet molasses, and an insignificant amount of other substances such as flavorings or unintended impurities. Vodka usually has an alcohol content of 35% to 50% by volume. The classic Russian, Lithuanian and Polish vodka is 40% (80 proof). This can be attributed to the Russian standards for vodka production introduced in 1894 by Alexander III[1]. According to the Vodka Museum in Moscow, Dmitri Mendeleev, a Russian chemist, found the perfect percentage to be 38. However, since spirits in his time were taxed on their strength, the percentage was rounded up to 40 to simplify the tax computation. At strengths less than this, vodka drunk neat (without ice and not mixed with other liquids) can taste "watery": above this strength, the taste of vodka can have more "burn". Some governments set a minimum alcohol content for a spirit to be called "vodka". For example, the European Union sets a minimum of 37.5% alcohol by volume.[2] Although vodka is traditionally drunk neat in the Eastern European and Nordic countries of the "Vodka Belt", its popularity elsewhere owes much to its usefulness in cocktails and other mixed drinks, such as the Bloody Mary, the Screwdriver, the vodka tonic, and the vodka martini. Anyway, nice to see some of them. It been years since we meet up..HaHaHa..cos last time I seldom have time to go for the gathering..I am sure I'll love to have one next time round. Some history of our class, we are 4E1 Hillgrove secondary school, studied pure chemistry, pure biology, pure physics, A maths, E maths, elective geography, social studies, chinese, english. All the super good teachers taught our class. Too bad, I didn't do well end up in poly. Most of them went to JC, except for some went to poly. I love my DICT, pronounce as dick. Haha.. Diploma in information communication technology.
